š From Corporate Climb to Creative Calling: Why I Left Corporate America After 20+ Years to Build My Own Brand
It all begins with an idea.
After 20+ years of climbing the corporate ladder and holding senior roles, I finally made the leapāand no, it wasnāt overnight. For over two decades, I balanced a full-time career with building a āside hustle,ā managing late nights, early mornings, motherhood, and burnout on more than one occasion. I was loyal to my company (and still loved my job most days š), but there was always this pullāa creative drive I couldnāt ignore.
Entrepreneurship was in my blood. My father built a group of companies from the ground up. My mom? A professional powerhouse who still showed up to field day in heels. And with the help of my sisterāwho was practically a second momāthey made it all work. I didnāt understand the magic back then. Now I do.
š„ Nature, Nurture & Never-Ending To-Do Lists: The Work Ethic I Inherited (and How Itās Fueling My Business Today)
It all begins with an idea.
I thought I just āhadā a good work ethic. But I now know it was equal parts nature and nurture. I watched my parents do it allāand somehow still show up. That rubbed off on me. As life got busierācareer advancement, travel, motherhood, opposite shifts with my husbandāit didnāt get easier. But it was worth it.
Being surrounded by that level of dedication set the foundation. And when youāve got a partner who matches that drive? It makes the chaos feel like purpose. That grit, that hustleāitās not just how I survived corporate life. Itās how Iām building something for our family legacy.
šLeadership That Leaves a Legacy: Why I Believe You Lead People, But Manage Processes
It all begins with an idea.
Leadership was never about authority for meāit was about service. About sharing knowledge and creating opportunities for others to shine. I was fortunate to work in an environment that nurtured leadership, not just management. And that made all the difference.
I believe leadership is about peopleāmentoring, encouraging, and guiding them into spaces they never imagined for themselves. And that belief became the blueprint for how I now run my own company.
I used to be āa jack of all trades and master of some.ā And thatās a gift and a curse. But itās also what pushed me to finally ask: Why not build something for myself?
